Dr. Javier Esteban Toro López
Interventional Pain Physician
He completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in interventional pain medicine and palliative care at CES University. Dr. Toro is active in multiple national societies and is involved in research. He is Associate Professor in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at CES University, passionate about teaching and advancing the field of regenerative medicine.
He has done over 5,000 interventional analgesic procedures under ultrasound and/or fluoroscopy guidance. He has performed over 100 percutaneous spinal neurostimulation system implants.
Dr. Carlos Castaño
Urologist
- Dr. Castaño specializes in Functional Urology at the Clínica Universitaria del CES in Medellín, Colombia, where he completed his urology residency in 2005. He has led educational projects for the Colombian Urology Society and served as Director of Urodynamics and Incontinence for the Confederation of American Urology (2014-2018).
- He is currently part of the Neuro-Urology promotion committee at the International Continence Society (ICS). His focus includes treating functional and anatomical lower urinary tract disorders, incontinence, and urinary retention. Internationally recognized for his work in neuromodulation, he remains active in education, research, and medical publishing.
