Dr. Toro is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician. He studied medicine at the University of Antioquia and trained in anesthesiology and in pain and palliative care at Universidad CES. He has performed more than 5,000 interventional procedures and implanted over 100 spinal neurostimulation systems.
He is associate professor of anesthesia and pain medicine at Universidad CES, and has presented his work at ASRA in San Francisco (2021) and at the World Institute of Pain in New York (2016).
