One elevator away
You go straight up to your room at the hotel. The doctors recommend enjoying at least two days in Medellín before flying, and your coordinator helps you ask your airline for assistance so the trip home is easy.
Your journey
Here is exactly how your treatment works, step by step: what happens before you fly, on treatment day, and once you are home.
The route
Three happen from home, before you spend on a flight. Four happen in Medellín and after.
Share on WhatsApp what you are living with and send your studies if you have them. A coordinator answers you, in English, and the team reviews your case for free.
You meet the specialist for your condition by video. They study your imaging, your history and your goals, and design your protocol.
Your protocol, your plan, your days in Medellín and one clear price, before you book a flight.
Your coordinator is waiting for you and takes you to your 4-star hotel, in the same building as the treatment center.
You go straight up to your room. Your coordinator stays in touch, and you receive your care instructions in writing.
Online consultations with the same team once you are home.
After your application
Your only job is to rest. Your coordinator takes care of everything else.
You go straight up to your room at the hotel. The doctors recommend enjoying at least two days in Medellín before flying, and your coordinator helps you ask your airline for assistance so the trip home is easy.
Your bilingual coordinator stays in touch while you rest, and you leave with your care instructions in writing, so you always know what to do.
Online check-ups after you are home, with the doctor for your treatment: for joints and spine, at about one and six months.
The cells work gradually, from the inside. For joints and spine, improvement is usually expected at 4 to 6 months, and some patients keep improving at 8 months.
Your plan
Your starting price is the treatment itself. Add the hotel and the logistics, and everything is handled, so you focus on one thing: your health. This is what can be part of your plan:
Flights and meals are not included. Optional extras, such as sedation for joint applications or hyperbaric chamber sessions, are always quoted in writing before you say yes.
Before you go
Most protocols are one day of treatment, and a night at the hotel can be added to your plan; for joints and spine the doctors recommend staying at least two days after the application. The intravenous protocols take three days and the intrathecal protocol four, and the hotel can be added to your plan. For systemic conditions a second visit, 6 to 8 weeks later, is usually recommended.
For joints and spine, a recent MRI or X-ray report. For the other protocols, recent blood work; every intravenous protocol also includes cancer markers. Your specialist tells you exactly what to prepare.
Yes. The coordinator can arrange an MRI in Medellín from $200 per body area, or an X-ray from $60, with results in about 48 hours. Transfers to the study are included.
After the application you take only the medication your doctor recommends and skip anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs), so the cells can do their work. You receive written pre- and post-care instructions.
Of course. Many patients travel with a partner or a family member, and your coordinator helps you plan for it.
